Daniel Fehmer Obituary
- January 3rd, 2024
Entered into rest on January 3rd, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Loving husband of Michele (Cabarga) Fehmer. Survived by sister Theresa (Rich) Sainsbury. Loving father of Erin Fehmer, Matthew Fehmer, and Mary (Fehmer) Lavtar. Daniel loved nothing more then spending time with his grandchildren, Cameron Fehmer, Braden Fehmer, Jack Lavtar, and Rori Fehmer. Daniel was an Air Force Veteran, a long time commander at the Amvets 897 and was very involved in his community after retiring from Local 41 IBEW as an electrician for over 50 years. Daniel donated his body to UB medicine and per his request there will be no funeral. A Celebration of Life will be planned in the next few weeks. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice.

Miss you everyday! The smallest thing will make me think of you. I am sure you were waiting for Aunt Teresa to make sure everything went smooth and she was comfortable passing. Because that's who you were, the guy that handled everything. I take comfort thinking you and your siblings and parents are all together now and not suffering. Love you dad!! Still feels like yesterday

Michele, it's been many years since we were at Blasdell Elementary together, but I knew you were in town and hoped to some day connect again.
My condolences on the loss of Dan. He sounds like a wonderful person. May he rest in peace after a life well lived.
