Will alway remember his humor, wont be.able to eat Brisket without seeing him smile and me and saying where is mine. Love and miss the man, may you have cook outs every day in heaven and save me some when I come and see you......

My heart goes out to all of David's family, knowing he was taken too soon. My mind goes back to the glory days of our teen years, when it all seemed so simple and fun, and ours lives were ahead of us. Some of the best memories I have are centered around the Thie family. You welcomed me into your home and your lives and treated me like one of the family. I have and always will treasure those days, and David will always remain close to my heart. I can't even express how deeply sorry I am that you've lost him. Dave was truly one of the good guys.

Karen, Jason, David, and Tara... we are very sorry for your loss. Dave wasn't just a neighbor, he was my friend. My family and I will miss him dearly. We lost a great friend, but gained an angel. If you guys need anything, please let me know.
