To the Hohensee clan. I know what a great loss you are feeling. I remember you dad in many ways and have always admired his friendly smile. As a child, I remember what a great father he was to all his children and a loving husband to his wife. He discovered a tumor in my mothers eye and bought her several more years with us. He will be remembered dearly and missed by many.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of "Doc"....I know he is singing his heart out with all of the other Barbershoppers that have gone.....what a passion for music he had....what a love he had for Elaine and his family...I am told he had mellowed when I started to work for him.....I learned so much and still hold him in great respect....at his suggestion we took our family on vacation to Algonquin, to this day we enjoy talking about how great our trip was...I ended up working with two other medical practices after working for Doc....a career I totally loved and I thank him for taking the chance on me. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

Please accept the condolences of myself and my family regarding your loss. I moved my family medical practice to his former office at 7531 Seneca in 2005 and we use the building in just about the same fashion he did. Many of our current patients saw Dr. Hohensee in the same room that I currently see them. They all have very complimentary things to say about what a fine man and physician that he was. They all remark on his straightforward approach and deep concern for each patient he saw. It is clear to me that he provided a great service to this community. He will be remembered in the highest regard. Sincerely John Ward
