April 24, 2008, of the Town of Tonawanda, NY, beloved husband of the late Gloria Laura House; father of Barbara King, Robert (Sue), Harold "Skip" (Donna) and the late Judith House; grandfather of Carly, Mike, Judi, Karen, Bobby and Shannon; great-grandfather of Cody, Dawson, Jordan and the late Angel; brother of Howard (Pat) and the late Hilda "Sis" Smith; survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 6-9 at the LESTER H. WEDEKINDT INC., FUNERAL HOME, 3290 Delaware Ave, where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11. Friends invited. Mr. House was a member of Zion U.C.C., Brighton Fire Co., under whose direction a service will be held Sunday evening at 7, Brighton Exempts, former Boy Scout Leader of Troop No. 405 and George W. Cushman Lodge No. 879 F&AM, under whose direction a service will be held Sunday evening at 7:30. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion U.C.C. or Alzheimer's Association of WNY.
