Eugene WILLARD Obituary
Unexpectedly, March 26, 2021, age 35, of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved father of Jordan Anthony; dearest son of Debra (nee Mergenhagen) and Eugene Willard, Sr.; brother of Nick (Ariel) Willard; grandson of Eugene N. (late Lenore) Willard and the late Dolores and Richard Mergenhagen; also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 3rd from 2-7 PM, at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.). Eugene was a roofer with Local #74. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in Eugene's name to Kids Escaping Drugs Renaissance Campus, 920 Harlem Rd., West Seneca, NY 14224.

Deb and Gene,
Sometimes our greatest contributions to this world are our children and how we raised them Geno was so kind and polite to me, and he sure knew how to make others smile. Although I only spent a few times with him when I look back they were enjoyable times. I´m glad the last time we went for wings with Bobby, I had the chance to tell him that he had many people who loved him, cared for him, and had faith in him. My prayers and thoughts are with your whole family that God will comfort you and bring you peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. Geno was a great person with an ability to make everyone laugh. He was one of my students years ago at CCHS and I can still see him in my classroom cracking jokes and driving me crazy and I loved it. I had the opportunity to reconnect with Geno this past Christmas and I value that more than you wil ever know. My deepest sympathy, the world lost a great person.
