Of Amherst, NY. Beloved husband of 70 yrs to the late Dolores Carmella "Dolly" (nee Long); Loving father of Cheryl (James) Reynard, Karen Campbell, Fred (Lisa), and Michael (Late Maureen) Lindner; Dear Gramps of Kevin, Michael (Alysa), Eric (Amanda), Luke (Brooke), Beth, Cole and the late Marcy (Jeff); Papa of 6-1/2 great-grandchildren; brother, Diane Redfield and the late Virgine Ingalls also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive friends on Friday, January 23rd from 3-7PM at the DENGLER, ROBERTS PERNA FUNERAL HOME 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, January 24th at St. Benedict RC Church, 10AM. In lieu of flowers donations in Fred's name may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Cheryl, Karen, Fred, and Michael.....I was sorry to read about your dad's passing. I am currently out of town and won't be able to attend the wake / funeral. I know this is a difficult time but try to remember all the good times and fun you had with your dad (and mom) and hopefully that will get you through the tough times. Your dad was a great guy who I enjoyed spending my early years getting to know. I remember cutting through the yard to come over and being greeted by your dad in the garage standing next to a deer hanging upside down that he just caught. What an experience to see ! Also would always see your mom and dad at St. Ben's for mass. God Bless to all of you and your families.

My Dad (Bob Pumm) is still telling stories about the days at NYNEX. So many great memories. Fred and Dolly sat next to us when we all had Sabres season tickets in the "NYNEX" row. RIP Fred. One of a kind! Bob, Chris, Mark & Jan Pumm

Lindner Family - very sorry to hear the passing of your Dad.
I still can see him leaning up against the dugout fence at Garnet coaching the Indians.
Really nice guy.
