PIERI - Fred R. April 26, 2010, beloved husband of 53 years to Norma (Concardi) Pieri; loving father to Fred Jr. (Dr. Maria Geglia-Pieri) and Michael (Alice) Pieri; devoted grandfather to Andrew, Marissa, Nicole, Julia and Nicholas; son of the late John and Rose (Sineni) Pieri; brother of John Pieri, Betty (Michael) Marinaccio, Dorothy (Pete) Jernigan, late Steve (Virginia), late Joseph (late Bertha) Pieri. Family present Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd. Family and friends are asked to assemble in church for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. Gregory the Great Church, Thursday at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Fred's name may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Fred retired as owner of John Pieri & Sons Food Brokerage in Buffalo, NY and also was an avid golfer. Mrs. Pieri, Fred and Mike,
I was recently informed and I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Pieri's passing. Mr. Pieri was always nice, kind, and very respectable to me. He seemed like he was always happy and friendly. I have a lot of wonderful memories of Mrs. Pieri, Fred Jr. and Mike when I was growing up in the area.

May God bless the Pieri family. Mr. Fred Pieri gave me my first job out of high school in 1976 as a data entry operator. I just missed spending days in the office during the blizzard of '77 and I still remember the kindness of Mr. Pieri.
