Gary did not know us but he was a big part of our bicycling life. Living in Hamburg, you have a tendency to see the same people riding. While out and about, we would always see "that guy" riding with his 4 spoke wheels. We never knew him but we acknowledged each other frequently riding in the south towns. We will miss our many passing waves with a fellow bike enthusiast .

Just heard about the lost of Gary.
My deepest condolences too all his family and friends. I had cycled with Gary on many occasions.
I know it has been well over 12 years of knowing and cycling with him on many biking adventures.
I don't bike as much as I did when I first met Gary, but I would still see him biking around the Southtowns. Mostly on his way back to Hamburg from a long ride.
He will truly be missed.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Gary, he was a close and good friend. We met in the 80's when I stopped to help him with a mechanical problem he was having with his bicycle. We covered many miles together, he will always be in my thoughts.
