You are in my prayers in the lost of your Husband, Father and Brother, the Kemp family was one of the first families I knew when I moved to Buffalo in the 50's as next door neighbors.

The God we all know shall get you trough this time in your lives.

Dolores and Family:

I am reaching out to express my deepest sympathy on the passing of your husband and family member Herb Kemp Jr. I am still trying to process the fact that he has made his transition. Herb and I grew up in Buffalo, same neighborhood. He attended Hutch Tech and I attended East High. We both attended Morgan State University and I have many fond memories of our times there together. I spoke with Herb a few months ago and we had a great conversation, our discussion still reverberates in my mind.

Herb was a pioneer, a role model, a family man and a great friend. He set a life standard that will serve as a guide and a beacon for generations to come. “Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. I share your pain, and your joy.

Like others who loved and cherished him, we mourn the loss of a very special first cousin. It was always an exciting and insightful time when we cousins got together; and with Herbert's recent move to South Carolina, we Georgia cousins were eagerly looking forward to making up some lost time with Herb and his crew. We'll deeply miss our cousin and friend, but we take comfort in knowing that a man who lived as graciously, lovingly, and fully as Herbert did is assuredly in the hands of our loving Lord now and forever more.
