88, of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully on Sept. 3, 2025. Beloved husband for 51 years of the late Gretchen (nee Jaeger) Rubeck; loving father of Karl (Julie) and Kurt Rubeck; cherished grandfather of Silas, Alyssa and Oscar Rubeck; dear brother of Kenneth (Donna) Rubeck and Barbara (Tom) Hanlon; also survived by many nieces& nephews. Herb graduated from Orchard Park High School in 1955. He was a proud patriot serving his country in the U.S. Army. Herb worked as a fork lift operator at ADM in Buffalo, NY retiring in 2000. He loved cars, riding motorcycles, camping, playing tennis, canoeing and skiing. He was a true outdoorsman. As per his wishes, services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, NY. Please share online donations at www.demmerleyfuneralhome.com.
