I hope we can all be as fortunate as dad was to leave this planet as gently as he did, surrounded by the people and places he loved the most.
I was blessed to have shared the past few weeks, to see the sweetness that replaced his sometimes kurmudgeonly but always exuberant approach to life.
Thank you all who so lovingly cared for him, especially Karen.
On a walk up Putnam Rd on the day of his passing I saw a million forget me knots and those flowers will always remind me of him from now on.
Poem by T.S.Eliot
We shall not cease from exploration At the end of all our exploring.
Will be to arrive where we started
And to know the place for the first time.
