Chris and Mrs. Conway (and all the rest of the family),

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of the passing of Mr. Conway. He was always a pleasure to see and be around and I certainly consider him a part of my upbringing and childhood. I have heard it said that a man can be measured by what he leaves behind, well by that measure, he was truly a great man.

My deepest sympathies and condolences.

Best,
Chuck

Dear Conway Family- We were so sad to hear of Jim's passing. He was a amazing man and touched many peoples lives.
It will be the little things that you remember the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memory of these little things that help push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.

Dear Linda, Jim, Matt, Chris and all your family members
There are just no words that can convey my feelings for your loss. Jim was truly a wonderful man in every sense of the word. You hear it in every writing in this guest book. I feel privileged to have been able to spend time with him and his wonderful family. He will be missed by everyone. I am glad that I will still be able to share memories with you. Dear Conway Family,
I was very sorry to hear about Mr Conway's death. My mother spoke very highly of "Jim" and truly appreciated his woodcarving skills as well as his wonderful sense of humor. Whenever she would forward me a joke, and I saw Mr Conway's name attached, I knew it would be worth reading and passing on to others to brighten their day too.
I never got to meet Mr Conway and feel especially sad about that since I live in Sarasota now, but wanted you all to know that even without personally knowing him he brought a smile to a lot of people's faces.

To the Conway family

It pains me to learn of the passing of Jim Conway, who served on my PhD dissertation committee in 1996 at UB. I remember the sound advice he gave me that helped improve the quality of my research proposal, and also his wit during the two classes I took with him at UB.
