HOFF-James E., Sr. September 29, 2007, beloved husband of Betty R. (Stevenson) Hoff and the late Marion (Wills) Hoff; father of James E. (Peggy) Hoff, Jr. of Steamboat Springs, CO, Peggy (Denny) Frehsee of Brattleboro, VT and Thomas (Peggy) Hoff of Midland, MI; stepfather of Mary Ellen (Edward) Jerge; brother of Mary Callahan, the late Grace Loretz and Dorothy Hunton; grandfather of eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one late grandson; also survived by a sister-in-law, Barbara Hehnen, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main St. at Cayuga Rd., Williamsville where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Friends invited. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amherst Presbyterian Church. Mr. Hoff was a member of The NY Central RR Retirees Club, Historical RR Society and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of WWII.
