So very sorry to hear of the loss of Jane this week. She was such an influence on so many people, and a very dear friend of Mom and Dad and our family. She has left her mark on the town of Clarence and improved our lovely town for generations to come. Her steadfast friendship with so many people, and her kind generosity to everyone was so special. Blessings and comfort to Dave and her daughters as they adjust to an emptiness without her. We send our love. She is being welcomed to heaven by some special friends tonight!!

Dear Sweet Family:
I was so sad to hear of the passing of your dear wife and mother. She was someone we all just adored. When I was in town, it seemed I would see her at every event I attended!! It was always such a warm welcome home-- I will miss seeing her (more than you know). She really represented all that I loved about Clarence. You have a truly special angel over you and we have a wonderful role model on how to live life. My heartfelt sympathy

Hi Laura, You were the best gift your mom could have had these past months. What a testament you are to the kind of women Jane raised. Thank you for caring for our friend so lovingly and for sharing her last days so willingly with those of us who also loved her. We love you...Gail

Jane was a superb role model and inspiration to her students during her tenure at U.B. in the 50's.
Many of us owe a great deal of the success we have enjoyed professionally to her wonderful way
of bring out the best in each of us. She will always be remembered.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Jane was such a role model for me growing up. She certainly left her mark on friends, family and the town of Clarence. Great memories of girl scout troop meetings in the basement, splashing in the pool, babysitting, golden retrievers, her laugh. She will be missed by many. Hugs to all of you.

To the Sweet family,
Your mom was something else, for sure. She never failed to greet me and converse with me no matter where we would meet, no matter how crowded the venue.
It was her way and I loved that about her.
My heartfelt sympathy to all as you now keep Jane's memory safe within your hearts forever. She was a great lady.

Dear Sweet family,
The Hickey family is saddened by the passing Mrs. Sweet. What a community-minded lady!! Seldom do towns have people that take such a role in their town's development. Clarence is a much better place for having Mrs. Sweet as a citizen. God Bless your family and rest assured you now have an angel watching over you.
Sincerely,
The Hickey family
