FERRAINA - Janet I. (nee Strassel)December 3, 2020, age 83, beloved wife of 58 years to John Ferraina; devoted mother of Ellie Ferraina, Gina Warthling and Maria Ferraina-Breil; loving grandmother of Jenna, John, Jessica, Carly Irene, Oliver and the late Ana; dear sister of Ann Richter, Mary (Leonard) Klino and the late Edward Strassel; also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 5200 Sheridan Drive (at Hopkins Rd). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 9:30 AM at Ss. Peter & Paul R.C. Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville. All are asked to assemble at church. Interment will be private. As you prepare to attend, please be mindful that Face Coverings and 6 foot separation are required at all times. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry. My mom's love she had for her family was unconditional...every time my daughter Carly Irene(Carly girl) would see her it would would bring a smile to her face that lit up the room.She never stopped caring and taking care of her family even when she wasn't up to it. We shared so many memorable things from lunch to concerts and trips down to Florida together.Carly and i had lunch with her the day before her surgery and we laughed and enjoyed your afternoon together. She was my mom,my best friend and my hero.I'm proud to be her daughter and to have been so close...she always took such care of our family and all the people in her life. Mom you will always be in my heart and a large part of me. I love and miss you so much. Sing and dance to all the music that makes you happy with God.Today,Tomorrow and Forever your love is in my heart.
