Wow Jeff. It's been nearly 10 years now. I know you and Billy Metzger are enjoying some good wine ... Chassagne Montrachet, right bud? Remember that time on the boat and I bet you a bottle you couldn't flip me?
I wanted to tell you that it took a long, long time but you eventually made the impact you wanted with me. I've found my way to God and a good part of that was you, being my friend and caring more for my soul than you did for our friendship. The pebble that was your life still makes waves here.
I'll be out to see you soon. That picture of us together at US Foods - you, Billy, Coconuts and me - I never make a meal without seeing it and thinking of you. I hope I honor what you would have wanted me to be ... you always had such high standards for me.
Put in a good word for me, JMD, okay? All my best, Lex Luther.

Deeply saddened to hear about Jeff's passing.. Although I moved to England in 2002 and had lost contact with him in recent years, I have fond memories of a great friend during my years in Buffalo-sincere belated sympathy to Julie and Joshua, as well as to Jeff's entire family.

Deepest sympathy to Jeff's family. Jeff and I (and families) go back along way, and with the news of his passing brought back fond memories. With Jeff and Randy Doan on guitar and me on on drums to little league baseball with Mr. Dahl coaching. Growing up with the Dahl family as well as the McNamara family, just want to pass along a heartfelt sympathy, and am grateful that he (and family) touched our lives. May God embrace and comfort you in your time of need.

To Jeff's family: I learned of Jeff's passing in Friday's news. In a word, I was stunned. I worked under him for a while at The Sign Of The Steer. In my lifetime, I have met many people, and very few have matched his vitality, conviction, and sense of committment to who and what mattered. God bless you all during what no doubt is a very challenging time.

Hola Jeff,
Como estas. A si a si tambien. Vamos a extrañar!
Dear Jeff,
Julie is a strong woman and Josh is a wonderful little you. They will be fine. You were a wonderful husband and father. You lived your life to your fullest and lived your life for your family. I am sorry that it couldn't last only a few days longer, a few moments longer. You probably never got a chance to read Randy Pausch's book, The Last Lecture, that I told you to read (you were waiting to get well again). So please, let me share some of his best quotes with you and your family:
"We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand."
"It's not about how to achieve your dreams, it's about how to lead your life, ... If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself, the dreams will come to you."
"The key question to keep asking is, Are you spending your time on the right things? Because time is all you have. "
May your tears flow and turn into laughter,
Jessica and your friends at Roswell

Fond memories will live forever with us and our children - birthday parties, trick-or-treating, summer bon-fires, ATV riding, the snow sliding hill off your driveway and so many happy times. The years that were shared while we all worked for Turgeon Brothers left many lasting fond and fun memories. Much time has past but each and every time we met at a mall or on the street the gap closed and it felt like it was only like yesterday. To a wonderful man who fully enjoyed his life to the fullest - Thank you and always know that your friendship was deeply cherished. Having just lost my mother I can only add that the love you have for Jeffrey and the fire his light in this world and his life will always be with you. Cherish the memories and love the remain with you through eternity. My love and sympathy to you all
