Jerome HAZLETT Obituary
Peacefully passed away with his family by his side on July 8, 2022, after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Judith Hazlett (nee Ball); dearest father of Julie (Gino Monaco) Hazlett, Joe Hazlett, Lisa (Brian) Smith and Jeffrey (Linda) Hazlett; cherished grandpa of Samuel (Victoria), Melissa, Haley, Jacob, Trevor and Lexi; loving great-grandfather of Whitney, Weston, Wade and Carter; dearest brother of Kathy Tomasic, Betsy Oliver and the late Gregory Hazlett; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13th, from 4-8 PM at LOOMIS, OFFERS & LOOMIS, INC., FUNERAL HOME (Hamburg Chapel), 207 Main Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 14th, at 10 AM at Saints Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Hamburg, NY. Please assemble at church. Jerry retired as a Police Detective from the Lackawanna Police Department, after 33 years of service. He was also an active member of Saints Peter and Paul R.C. Church and volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Just finding this a year and a half later. Jerry was landlord for me and my family years ago and was a wonderful and decent man. I'm very sorry to read of his passing and my belated condolences to the family
