"Jerry"
of Buffalo, NY. Beloved husband of 58 years to Carol (nee Witkowski); loving father of Maureen (Michael) Murawski and James Sundquist; cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; devoted fur companion the late "Teddy"; dear brother of Joanne Burdick, Jennifer (late Robert) Ladowski and Joseph (Louann) Sundquist; predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jerry was an avid Yankees, Bills and Sabres fan. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4-8PM at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (2 blocks south of William St.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:30AM in St. Katharine Drexel R.C. Church, 135 N. Ogden St., Buffalo. Please assemble at church. Entombment in St Stanislaus Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Jerry's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Dear Carol, Jimmy and Maureen. So very sorry for your loss. Uncle Jerry was a fantastic person. I loved him like a brother. I loved the stories he told. He loved going to the trailer with Joe. He is now at peace and enjoying his second life with his brothers and sisters. He is looking down at the three of you and will guide you the rest of your days. Uncle Joe and myself are here for you forever. We love you.
