I am sorry for family for their loss. John was my Confermation Sponser. He and Rose Anne were a big part of our familly for years dating back when they lived across the street as I grew up. Over the years we made contact whether playing golf, restaurants, and maybe a phone call. My father and John were very much friends and both loved their visiting one another. In fact my mother's last visit were John and Rose Ann and my last picture I had of my mother, John and Rose Anne were in the photograph. When I was very young I would carry my hockey game or chess board over to John's house and he would play with me and years later thinking about that, John would play the games with me, whether he liked it or not. He was just a great man and left and big impression in my life. Just a great man!

Dear Grimaldi Family,
I am sadden to hear of the passing of John. I got to know John through the St. Greg's Golf League. We played many rounds together, and the laughs and fun play was always important to him. He was a great golfer, but even a better person. My he rest in peace.

my brother mike recently shared with me he was fixing his junker car years ago, when john was visiting our dad. mike told john he had a big date that night, and john (without hesitation) told him to walk a block, and borrow one of his cars, so my bro took him up on his kind offer...john was a class act!

I met John in 1959 when I started working at Liberty Mutual, 190 Delaware Ave in Buffalo right out of High School, he was in Personal Sales and I was in Commercial Sales. By far, one of the nicest people I met. I married my Boss and we were transferred to Rockefeller office in 1966 and eventually to CT. I returned to WNY 3 1/2 years ago and guess who my Insurance Man is?? John Jr - of course! I am so sorry for your loss - very nice kind man.
