MICKLER - John P.
Of Kenmore, entered into rest March 27, 2021. Loving son of the late Charles "Russ" and Helen Mickler; dear brother of Gary Mickler; also survived by many, many friends. No prior visitation. Private service. John had a passion for hockey and coached for the Junior Sabres, St. Joe's and Buffalo State. He also loved singing karaoke and was known as "Diamond John". John and I go back along was as we played hockey together and I use to work with John at his Dads TV store as we were the delivery boys. I had not seen John in a very long time but still consider him a good friend if I ran into him today.
He loved Hockey and Coaching the kids!
May he rest in piece.

John was a good friend. We met and worked together on the New York State Amateur Hockey Board. John led the coaching education program for the youth in our State for over 16 years. Rest in Peace my friend!

My sympathies go to John´s family
The many hockey stories between Brighton and Lincoln rinks at Campbells tavern where all the scores were settled. John´s laugh in the middle of the group will never be forgotten. God bless

John was a good friend when I lived in Buffalo. We played hockey and coached together and had many, many fun times together at Campbell´s bar. I am sure he will be very much missed. Rest In Peace.
