Born in Montemaggiore Belsito, Sicily Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Provie "Joan" (nee Biondo) Tripi.Devoted father of Josie (Patrick) Tronconi, Bernadette Flejtuch and Charles (Kristin) Tripi. Cherished and proud grandfather of Matthew, Juliana, Ellia, Patrick and Joseph. Loving son of the late Cruciano and Giuseppa Tripi. Dear brother of Ninetta (late Francesco) Ciaccio and the late Carmela (late Cruciano) Runfola, Cosimo (late Nunzina) Tripi and Cristanzo (late Ada) Tripi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will be present on Wednesday from 4-8PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (at Hopkins Rd.) where prayers will be offered on Thursday at 8:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. Gregory the Great Church at 8:45AM Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com

Dear Josie, Bernadette, Charlie...no words can ease the pain of losing your dear father. I will always remember him as a kind, gentle man devoted to his family. He was always so sweet and chatted with me as he walked me home after I babysat. My father cherished his friendship.
