Mr Hall was Pinehurst Country Club. Each 4th of July he would put on a spectacular show, but before the glorious fireworks, he would graciously remind us why we were celebrating-he was the heart of the show. He always made me feel welcome, even though I was just a kid. I feel sorry for the new people who never got to know him. It's hard to imagine the club without him. Bud was one of the pioneers that has paved the way for the success of many club managers. I always enjoyed our talks at conference and garnered great wisdom and an occasional good story. My heartfelt sympathies to his family as our industry has lost one of its best.

Mr. Hall was one of the people I remember most growing up at Pinehurst CC, he was the face and spirit of Pinehurst. One Easter I slipped on a grape, getting my new dress dirty, and was worried I was in trouble with Mom and Dad. Mr. Hall was the one who made everything alright. My condolence to Mr. Halls Family.
