Of Hamburg, NY, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14th surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife for 59 years of the late Paul J. Ludwig; loving mother of Paula Van Houten, Gregory (Judith) and Douglas (Jennifer) Ludwig; cherished grandmother of Rachel Van Houten, Elizabeth (David) Krych, Nicholas (Sarah) Van Houten, David and Jack Ludwig; great-grandmother of Clara Krych, Charlie Van Houten, Julia Krych and Melody Van Houten; dear sister of Fr. Charles Slisz. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Sophie (nee Iwanski) Slisz, two brothers, Joseph (late Mary Ellen) and Henry (late Margaret) Slisz. Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, NY on Monday, March 17th from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at SS Peter & Paul Church at 10: 30 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Condolences may be shared at www.demmerleyfuneralhome.com.
