Louis OSHIER Obituary
December 28, 2022, age 80; beloved husband of 50 years to Sally (nee Jankowiak) Oshier; devoted father of Carolyn (Joseph) Leggett, Daniel, Louis J. Jr. (Kaitlin), and Sarah (Michael) Dwyer; loving grandfather of Tucker, Molly, Zoe, Henry, Alice, Nixon, Charles, Hadley, and Jane; dearest brother of Maurice (Elaine) Oshier, Virgina (George) Mullen, and predeceased by Eleanor Crowley and James (Melva) Oshier; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present Monday, January 2, 2023 from 10 AM-1 PM at the (Cleveland Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 569 Cleveland Dr. (near Harlem Rd.), where a Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM. Friends invited. Interment to be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/. Louis was a United States Army Veteran serving in Berlin and 2 tours in Vietnam. He was retired Director of Law Enforcement Communications at Erie County Central Police Services. Many fond memories of Uncle Lou playing with us when we were little. He was awesome at using Memere's sofa cushions to make a fort! My love to you all.
