For Maxine's Family:
On behalf of the New York State Board for Psychology, please accept the condolences of our Members who remember Maxine as an intelligent, energetic, knowledgeable, welcoming, and active Member of our Board. She served with distinction in upholding the professional standards of the practice of psychology that she exemplified in her work. This comment from our former Vice Chairperson, Dr. June Chisholm, is typical of the remembrances of Maxine: "I am saddened to hear about Maxine passing away. I remember her razor sharp, pithy analyses of the many issues/questions with which the Board grappled. She was a tremendous asset to the Board, the profession, her colleagues, patients, her community, her family and friends. Waiting to hear what she had to say was one of the reasons why I looked forward to attending the state board meetings. I am honored to have known her and to have served on the board with her. I will miss her." You can be truly proud of her accomplishments and know that she leaves a rich professional legacy as well as your cherished family memories.

We are so sorry to hear of this tremendous loss for so many who were so touched by Max's radiance and zest for life. She was adventurous, sharp, wise, empathetic, generous, and so full of spunk. She was a positive influence on so many lives, and in my family's brief time with her, and in view of my parents in law's long-cherished friendship with her, I know she was truly an incredibly special being, and that her life will be celebrated in the same style in which she lived it--with passion, flair, love, and a true appreciation for all the beauty to be admired around us. God bless you all, and God bless dear Max.

David and Family, My heartfelt condolences. Maxine first introduced me to the Psychological Association of Western New York many many years ago and I will always be thankful that she did. A very very special peron. Thank you Maxine. Warren D. Keller

My deepest sympathy to all of you at this time. I had the pleasure of knowing your parents through the zawadzki's. Both your mother and father spoke very lovingly about all of you and your children. Mom was an inspiration , and a comfort to all the peoples lives she touched. Sincerely Mary Ann Heary
