Michael CONKLIN Obituary
Of Sloan, NY. Suddenly, August 11, 2021. Beloved son of Richard and Angie (Arnold) Conklin; dear brother of Dale "AJ" (Larissa) Hanson, McKenzie, Joseph and Kaylee Conklin; loving uncle of Eli, Michael Joseph and Wyatt; grandson of Janet Collins and the late Harold M. Conklin and Brandt and Barbara Arnold; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will be present at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY, Monday 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 127 William-Kidder Rd., Lancaster, NY, Tuesday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sloan Fire Dept. Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com

My name is Isabella I am now Turing 14 and I still sometimes think about what happened; We went to school together I remember playing with him at the park many times one specific time was at the beatles concert at Griffith park August of 2021 I never thought that that would be the last time I would be able to make memories with him or the last time I would get to see him he was so kind ngl I kinda had a crush on him and the day I heard about what happened I cried for like 3 days straight I am very sorry for all the people that his passing affected Fly High Mikey

I know this is very late and you may not know me but I would just like to say what a sweetheart Mikey was, he was a good friend to everyone and brightened the area just with his presence. I met Mikey at Griffith park where this tragedy occurred. I remember riding bikes with him and other kids at the park, playing silly games together, and just having fun in general. But that fun wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for Mikey. He always had your back even if he barely knew you. Rest in peace Mike.

I knew him like a brother. he was my everything im posting this a little late but i forgot to write. if you were hurt and crying he would make sure you were ok and cheer you up. there is somebody named spencer that reminds me of him. he tried to lighten the mood at yhe park the day after the incedent.

I remember Michael when he was at Theodore Roosevelt School , as I am a lunch monitor there . He always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to talk too. I was very upset when I heard the news.
