With Deepest & Heartfelt Sympathy To Mike's Family and Friends,
I was so sorry and sad to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was such a sweet, kind and beautiful person. He and I worked together at Empire of America for many years and later at M&T. I only ran into Mike a few times at M&T, but whenever we did, it was as if time never passed. I have so many wonderful memories of Mike, a video and photos of us dancing at my wedding in 1986...I just cannot believe he is gone.
I will always remember Mike's smile and kind, gentle nature, with a heart as big as the outdoors. I feel truly blessed to have known Mike and been able to share special times with him.
I know Mike is now an angel in heaven, who is watching over all of us. May God's peace be with you always. I will miss you Mike!!
With Lots of Love, your old friend - Denise

To Mike's Family,
I was shocked to hear that Mike passed away. I worked with Mike for several years at M&T. He helped me through a tough time in my life. I considered him not just a friend but my brother and I his sis. I loved him dearly. We would call each other Bro and Sis. He sat across from me at M&T when he was in Data Security. We had some good times at lunches, dinners and happy hours. We talked a few times after he left my department, but we didn't keep in close contact. We both kept saying we had to get together for lunch and it never worked out. That I am sorry for. Mike is a very special person. I am blessed that he touched my life. Please believe he is with you in spirit and his love for you is still strong.
Thank you for sharing your beloved son, brother and uncle with me. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I worked with Mike for many years at Empire of America. We worked together daily and spent a lot of our afterwork free time together with mutual friends; it seems like only yesteday, although it was many years ago. I remember lots of laughing and good times - Mike was always in a happy mood and ready for fun. Later, we would occaisionaly cross paths at M&T Bank. I will always remember Mike as a kind and good friend. May God bless his soul.

I started working with Mike at the Big "E" in 1982. Mike was the soft spoken hard working guy that got along with everyone. I guess we are all lucky to have had the pleasure to spend time with him.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To the Miller Family,
Michael and I spent our early years (very early) as close playmates on Oakridge Avenue...I wasn't surprised to see he was a car enthusiast as playing in the car pretending to be on a roadtrip was one of our favorite things to do...just wanted you to know how shocked I was to read that it was he who so suddenly passed. From the sounds of it, Michael obviously grew to be a wonderful, kind, caring, giving man...for which you must be so proud...I only wish I could have known him as an adult. The Daniels family's thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Mike,
There are no words to express this feeling of loss. I will miss your smiling face and warm compassion. You will always hold a special place in my heart.
Mike was one of the kindest, sweetest men I've ever met. The kind of guy you just loved the moment you met him. I am glad I had the chance to tell him that the last time I saw him.
Such a tragic loss for his family, friends, and our community.
