It's been almost a year since you left us. I continue to think about you everyday, as I always have. I miss your sense of humor, your kindness and mostly your warm smile. You touched so many people, in so many ways. To this day, I can not believe you are gone. My heart continues to go out to your family and your dear friends, you always spoke very highly of. You will be always thought of and forever missed by all of us.

I felt compelled to send a message saying how very sorry I am. I met Mike and only knew him for a few Months through Franks. He was the nicest man. Mike had a selfless way about him that you Chuck and Teresa carry on. Your powerful and sincere souls have amazed me from day one. Chuck, my brother looks up to you and so did Mike. You both are some of the strongest people I've ever met. And I'm so thankful for not just my time with your brother, God rest his soul, but also to have become a part of your family. Alexis and Angelo are amazing kids and you all carry big hearts. You better save a seat for me this Thanksgiving because I will be there.

Dear Charlie and family, Wow it seems time stands still sometimes, but time is really a thief. I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember the surprise that Michael was to everyone I know how close you and Mike were as young boys, how proud your Mom and Dad were of you both. And after your Dad passed the concern your Mom had for her boys, from the previous comments you both grew up to be all they would want you to be. I hope the memories in your heart of them all will comfort you for the remainder of time on earth. Augies and Wally are in good company....Best to you and your family. God bless.

Mike and I went as far back as Kindergarten at Heritage Heights Elementary and stayed friends through high school at Sweet Home. Mike, there's so many great memories with you and your family and our friends. You will be greatly missed. May your soul forever rest in peace.

Mike came into my life at a difficult time and showed me caring, kindness and warmth I'd never experienced. He was thoughtful, compassionate and had an energy and a presence when he entered a room. He was fun to be around. He remained a good friend and the best person to talk to about anything. He had the strongest love for his family and friends. The world was a better place with Mike in it and his loss is unbearably sad. We're all lucky to have been touched in some way by him. I'll always love him. Love to his family and friends at this terrible time.

You have left us with broken hearts. You have made such an impact on the lives of so many people.You have made us laugh...but now we cry. It is difficult to hold back tears when we are overtaken by a flight of thoughts from the time you were a happy young boy to the tragedy of the past week.

To the greatest person I have ever or will ever know, I thank god for allowing me and have been honored to be your brother and part of your world for 46 much too short years. You were the rock, the glue, the quintessential being of what I and everyone else would come to know as a "true friend" and for me, "my brother". I am forever in your debt for all you were to me, and for all you have done for me in my life. My only regret is that we will not be together to spend the rest of our days on this earth together, as yours ended much to soon, and I must now go on without you. The world has two rather large shoes to fill.
