Age 77 of Hudson, OH, formerly of Buffalo, NY and Apex, NC, left this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Leonard A. Kurczewski and Alma (nee Winnie) Kurczewski. She is the beloved mother of Carolyn (Tony) Bouquot and Linda (James III, MD) Cappola; cherished grandmother of Jenna (Brandon) Korns, Olivia Bouquot, Noah Bouquot, Gabby Cappola, James IV Cappola, Ava Cappola, Ella Cappola and Joseph Cappola; adored great-grandmother of Flynn Korns and his soon-to-arrive sister, Rosemary Korns; dear sister of Patricia (late Roy) Burkard, Van (Cheri) Kurczewski and the late Leonard R. (late Patricia Jane) Kurtz; also survived by nieces and nephews. Nancy worked as a medical secretary for Buffalo General Hospital for almost 20 years. Nancy was a member and leader of the West Seneca Recovery International group. She was honored for her dedication and service to people struggling with their mental health. After an early retirement, Nancy resided in Apex, North Carolina to be close to her family. Nancy was a member of the St. Teresa of Jesus, O.C.D.S. Raleigh, NC religious community and St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Apex, NC. The family would like to thank the staff at the Gardens at Liberty Park in Streetsboro, OH for their loving care of Nancy during her final months. Family will be present to receive friends Friday, January 24, 2025 from 4-7 pm at the (Blasdell/Lackawanna Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC. 3450 South Park Ave. where prayers will be said Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna, NY 14218.
