Peter was one of the first teachers I met when I started at BPS in 1982. He was an excellent teacher, who taught me a lot about working with inner city students. Years later he sent me a copy of "The Old Man and the Sea". He definitely got me in the habit of reading great literature to my students.

Rest in peace Peter. So many memories of meeting you at City of Buffalo Libraries when we taught BPS home instruction students. You always would share where I could get reasonable books for my students, home instruction students and myself.
