Phyllis Reinstein Obituary

The family of Phyllis Reinstein of Richmond, Virginia, and previously Cheektowaga, New York, sadly announces her unexpected passing on November 27, 2023. Born on January 23, 1935, to Walter and Harriette Panek (both deceased) of Sloan, New York, she was the eldest of five: Lawrence Panek (deceased) (Carol), Mary (deceased), Robert Panek (Hedda), and Carol Fisher (Dennis). Mrs. Reinstein was married for sixty-six years to her husband, Robert, who survives. She leaves behind two sons, Robert of Rockville, Virginia, and Ronald (Natala) of Rochester, NY., three grandsons, Matthew and Andrew of Virginia, Ronald James (Kim) of Cheektowaga, three granddaughters, Ashley, and Charlotte of Virginia, and Yeleana Reinstein, a sister-in-law, Julia, in California, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life was officiated by family friend, Rev. Ralph Starling. Mrs. Reinstein was laid to rest in Richmond, Va. between her beloved daughter-in-law, Anna (Robert), and her great granddaughter-in-law, Loren (Matthew).
