Raymond POPIELARZ Obituary
POPIELARZ - Raymond R. January 16, 2020, age 95, of Wellesley, MA, formerly of Buffalo, NY. Beloved husband of the late Florence E. (nee Widera) Popielarz; dearest father of the late Marie Fallon, Michael (Joanne) Popielarz and June Popielarz (Grant Grummer); cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Bryan, Erik, Sandra, April and Ryan; great-grandfather of Silas and Remi; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday January 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at Queen of Martyrs Church at 9 AM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Popielarz was an Army veteran, member of the American Legion Adam Plewacki Post #799 and a former member of Queen of Peace Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Honor Flight at www.honorflight.org. Condolences at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
