Gloria, Janine, Kim & Todd:
It has been a long time since we have spoken, but your family is thought about often. I was so sorry to hear about Dick. He was always a great guy with a huge smile. I know words can’t take away the pain of such a loss, but take comfort in the wonderful memories you have.

Aunt Gloria, Janine, Kim, Todd & family.

Uncle Butch as he was referred to by the nieces & nephews. My (3) memories of him are as follows: Bills games, family functions and the person. I will always miss the drive to the Bills home games and him and my father would be going over the strategy of what we needed to do to beat this weeks opponent. The funny part was, they were right all of the time. Family: Laughter and camaraderie usually ruled. It would not be uncommon to be at our house on a Saturday and your house on Sunday. Boynton Ave, Cheektowaga, Hamburg, Pendleton and eventually Florida. These fine times seemed to last forever. The person: There really is only one word to describe Uncle Butch, and thats "Class". He was always respectfull, kind and considerate to all of us kids. The examples he set as a person are ones that most people envy. So I write this with a heavy heart but, I feel lucky and fortunate to having someone like him in our lives, I am more prouder to say that he was my uncle.

All our Love,

Kevin, Allyson & Kaley Beback

Richard was affectionately called Butch by many of his brothers and sisters. He was truly a remarkable individual who showed so much courage with his illness. Butch has alway held a special place in my heart. Growing up he was always there for me. He will truly be missed.

Dick was a great guy. He helped me out a lot when I was a snot-nosed apprentice technician at Harrison.
Afterlife be forewarned - If any other trade in Heaven is doing what Dick thinks is electrical work there will definitely be Hell to pay.
May he rest in peace.

Dick was a Great guy! He helped me out alot when I was a snot-nosed apprentice technician. The other trades in Heaven had better not be doing anything close to electrical work, or there will definitely be Hell to pay!
May he rest in peace.
