Richard LEMKE Obituary
LEMKE - Richard E. Age 88, of the Town of Wheatfield, Sunday, February 3, 2019, in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility, after a lengthy illness. Richard was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a member of the Rescue Fire Company in North Tonawanda and St. Paul Lutheran Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 67 years of Virginia (Andrees) Lemke; dear father of Richard (Val) Lemke of North Tonawanda, Debra (Richard Severson) Lemke of Ft. Myers, FL, Wayne (Julie) Lemke of Strongsville, OH, Wendy (Jeffrey) Binkley of North Tonawanda, Jeffrey (Darlene) Lemke of Pryor, OK, Jayne Lemke of North Tonawanda, Robert (Tracey) Lemke of Delmar, NY and Rebecca Barry of North Tonawanda; grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda, on Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM from St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
