December 16, 2022. Beloved husband of Szu-Yin "Jennifer" (nee Wu) Welker; cherished son of Richard and Ellen (nee Kandefer) Welker; Son-in-law of Zheng-Liang and the late Li-Huang; loving grandson of Eleanor and the late Matthew Kandefer; dear brother of Michael (Ilona) Welker; brother-in-law of Szu-Han, and Szu-Ting; Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the BUSZKA FUNERAL HOME INC. 2085 Union Rd., West Seneca Thursday from 3-7 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 7 pm. Richard was an Assistant Hockey Coach at the University of Buffalo, Volunteered at the CAN/AM Hockey Camp, and played for multiple hockey teams in WNY. Flowers gratefully declined.
