To First Lady Sandra Baines;
The Departure Date,
We, as all God's children, live one final breath from our funeral.
Which, from God's perspective, is nothing to grieve. He responds to these grave facts with great news: "The day you die is better than the day you were born" (Eccles. 7:1 NLT). Now there is a twist. Heaven enjoys a maternity-ward reaction to funerals. Angels watch body burials the same way grandparents monitor delivery-room doors. "He'll be coming through any minute!" They can't wait to see the new arrival. While we're driving hearses and wearing black, they're hanging pink and blue streamers and passing out cigars. We don't grieve when babies enter the world. The host of heaven don't weep when we leave it.
May God bless you and your entire family and may he provide you with his perfect peace.

To the Baines Family.
Greetings from Memphis, TN from Brunetta Wideman and Tanya Wideman. We are so sorry for your lost. I (Tanya) had a chance to see Rev. Baines a few years ago when my grandmother passed away (Brunetta Burks). It was so good to see Rev. Baines. He gave me my first job managing his store when I was 13 years old. I was his youngest employee at the time, but Rev. Baines told me and my mom that he saw something in me at an early age and I thank Rev. Baines for that as that experience opened alot of doors for me. I love you Rev. Baines, you will always mean the world to me. You were like a father to us when we didn't have one in our lives. You had a huge impact on the community and a gift that only God gave you. Condolences to Sabrina, Eric and of course the lovely Sandra Baines.
