Beloved husband of the late Monica (nee Quinn) Barton. Dearest father of John J. (Mary Pat), Robert, Jr. (Ann), Patrick (Nancy), Christopher, Joseph P. (Krista), Margaret "Maggie", Elizabeth "Betsy," and the late Kathleen Barton. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of the late Mary Alice Barton. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m., at The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY 14226. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville, NY 14221. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Online condolences may be placed at www.TheDietrichFuneralHome.com.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your father. I'm unable to get to the wake or funeral. I'm a "Club friend". We had so many good times with your Mom & Dad. He usually appeared at the end of the evening to say hello & check the "goodies". May he rest in peace.
