Robert BEITER Obituary
June 13, 2022, age 83. Served as Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Brocton, NY, 1986 until 2008. Beloved son of the late Dolores E. (nee Edbauer) and Richard E. Beiter; caring brother of Richard H. (Mary) Beiter of Adamstown, MD, Sister Michele Beiter, SSJ, Michael R. (Madeline) Beiter of Valrico, FL and the late PFC. Roger J. Beiter, USMC; dear uncle of nieces and nephews and the late Thomas R. Beiter; great-uncle of 16; special friend of Father Leon Biernat, Sister Mary Jo Colucci, SSJ, Patrick and Teresa Blewett, Scott and Nora Gilman and family and many Priests and Religious Sisters; also survived by many cousins and other good and faithful friends. Arrangements by the AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC. Father Beiter will lie in state on Friday from 3-7 PM at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 158 Laverack Avenue, Lancaster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday from Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 12 PM. Rev. Leon J. Biernat, will be principal celebrant. Friends invited. In lieu of flowers, memorials may

It has been a very special opportunity to know and work with Fr. "B" for the time he was at St. Patrick's. Our family had many holidays we shared with him. A special personality which could keep you laughing. We have missed him dearly. Rest in Peace you have finished your task.

So incredibly sad to hear of our always amazing Fr. Beiters passing. He was one of a kind! His incredible strength, faith, intelligence, kindness, sense of humor and genuine caring endeared him to all. Our family at St. Patrick's (now St. Dominic's) in Brocton, had the honor of knowing him and following him in faith for many years. His faith based leadership has been sorely missed. He was one of a kind. I, for one, will always remember his expressive face. You knew what was going on inside his head just by a look! He was the best, hands down. There will never be another like him! God bless you, Father. Rest in eternal peace with our Lord in Heaven
