Of West Seneca, NY. Beloved husband of Dawn M. (nee Field); dearest father of Julie (Christopher) Garafalo and Cindy (Christopher) Boaz; loving grandfather of Jacob, Roman, McKenzie, Elijah and Annabella; son of the late Robert W. & Mabel (nee Moore) Elmes; brother of Nancy (Michael) Okoniewski and Sally (late William) Tanner; survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Robert was a Veteran of the US Navy, machinist and millwright, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and watching Yankees and Bills games. Family present Saturday, October 4th 1-4 PM at HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca, where a Funeral Service will be held immediately after. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WNY Veterans Housing Coalition, 57 Howard St., Buffalo and Hope for Cats Inc., PO Box 243, North Boston, NY 14110.
