December 13, 2020, of Buffalo, NY. Beloved husband of the late Camille; dearest father of Gregory (Brenda), Corbie Lavery and Garth Grochowiak; cherished grandfather of Carrie, James, Jessica, Cristin, Joshua, Caitlin, Agatha, Charles, Frederic and the late Devon, and great-grandfather of ten; dear brother of Carolyn (Rick) La France and the late Wallace Grochowiak Jr. The family will be present on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca. Current restrictions limit the number of occupants, we welcome you to visit the family and ask for your patience if you experience delays. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Lake Church, Hamburg, on Saturday at 12:00 PM. Please assemble at the church. Online condolences may be shared at www.hoyfuneralhome.com

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. G
He was my homeroom teacher in 1973 and 1974. We performed the play Oliver Twist and he took to other schools to perform. He was a very good teacher and friend. So glad we had our 77 reunion and he was able to be with us. I will remember him fondly. May he RIP.
