Peter J. Grochowiak

Peter J. Grochowiak died on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Neshaminy Manor in Doylestown, PA, after a brief illness. He was 81 years old.

Peter was the loving husband of Ann M. Grochowiak (née Vormund). The couple shared over 57 years of marriage. Born in Rockingham, VT, Peter was the son of the late Peter and Eleanor Grochowiak. He grew up in Philadelphia and later moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Peter served proudly in the United States Air Force. He retired from Nabisco after 25 years as a baker. Peter enjoyed coaching his son's little league baseball team. He enjoyed bowling, traveling with his wife Ann, and socializing with friends. Peter enjoyed many summer barbecues with family and many wiffle ball games. He was an avid Mets, Giants, and Islanders fan.

Peter was a laid-back, loving, and caring person to his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Ann, Peter will be missed by his children, Matthew Grochowiak and Staci Grochowiak; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Gregory, Henry, and Corinn; and his Labrador Retriever, Gracie. He is also survived by his sister, Eleanor Dress.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Peter's Committal Service on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road in Newtown, PA 18940, located at the intersection of Rt. 532/Washington Crossing Road. A procession will form at the Administration Building beginning at 11:15 a.m. The Committal Service will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.
