Robert L. "Bob" JACKSON

JACKSON - Robert L. "Bob" May 24, 1925 - December 23, 2009, beloved husband of Phyllis (Rath); dear father of Robert C. (Mary) Jackson, Thomas "T.J." (Barbara) Jackson, Mark (Debbie) Jackson and Sheila (Bruce) Foster; loving grandfather of Robert M. Jackson, Douglas Jackson, Shea Jackson, Lauren Jackson, Jessica Foster and Christopher Foster; and proud great-grandfather of Grace E. Jackson; son of the late William and Laura (Ross) Jackson; brother of Joseph Jackson (late Lucille) and the late William (Leona), Helen, Hugh (Dorothy), John (Mary), Dorothy, Daniel, Charles, Jeanne (Sister Juliana, R.S.M.), James (Jean) and Donald; also survived by sisters-in-law, Nora, Mary and Barbara Jackson. Bob took great pride in his successful career at the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. and Tops Friendly Markets as a Purchasing Agent. He also fondly recalled his early employment following graduation from South Park High School as Assistant Manager at Shea's Buffalo Theater and later as Manager at Shea's North Park Theater. Always sharp with numbers, Bob served as a Loan Officer for St. John's Buffalo Federal Credit Union and was president of The Holy Name Society of St. John the Evangelist Church. Bob was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Funeral from the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Southtowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Road, Orchard Park, Tuesday at 9:30 AM and from St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2950 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park at 10:00 AM.
