Of Buffalo, NY. Beloved son of the late Alfred F. and Theresa M. (nee Lewandowsky) Vasi; Dearest brother of the late Alfred C. Vasi; Cousin of the late David (Mary Ann) Borgioli, Cousin of Robert (Andrea) Borgioli; Uncle to David Borgioli, Jr., Mary Anne Borgioli-Ward (Stephen), Jim Bujalski (late Linda) and Mark Borgioli; Great-uncle to Michael Bujalski, Nicholas Picone and Maria Picone; Also survived by loving family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 4-6pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home, Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 10am with Military Honors at Resurrection Church, 130 Como Park Blvd. Please assemble at church. I´ve been lucky enough to live next to Bob for the last 16yrs. Truly the kindest, most generous neighbor around. Ribbing him countless times, to stop beating me to the snow shoveling or lawn mowing; warning him of injury. Turns out, his constant activity made him see 90 very healthy years.
I´ll miss his old neighborhood stories, pictures, and the sound of his car leaving the driveway every day at 7am, on his way to Town diner.
Bob, I can´t believe I just saw you not a month ago, chatting me up with your most recent subway adventure. You´ll be truly missed, bless you my good neighbor.

Bob and his brother Al were my customers at the Towne Restaurant. I had many great conversations with them. Sorry to hear of Bob's passing

If I could choose a neighbor to have it would be Bob and his brother Al. Bob was the first to shovel his neighbor's sidewalks and mow their lawns in the spring. He was a storehouse of information and readily shared his knowledge of how to fix things. He even taught himself to be competent on the computer. But above all he loved God and walked to Mass at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church.
