Former City of Buffalo Police Commissioner, at age 75. Beloved husband of Anna Marie (nee Muscarella) Diina; devoted father of Rebecca J. (Michael) LaCivita and Rocco N. (Sarah) Diina; adored Papa of Michael Rocco, William Daniel, Rocco Samuel, Emmy Elizabeth and Rowan James; loving son of the late Thomas and Grace (nee Mecca) Diina; dear brother of the late Anthony (Kathleen), Thomas (Marilyn) Diina and Joanne (Russell) Muscarella; also survived by many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 8th, from 4-8 PM at the (Delaware Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1132 Delaware Ave. (near West Ferry). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM-11 AMon Thursday, October 9th, at St. Joseph's Cathedral, 50 Franklin St., Buffalo. Please assemble at the Cathedral. Entombment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canisius High School, 1180 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14209. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com.
