Ruth (Ihle) Dietz was my 4th grade teacher at Warren G.
Harding Elementary School during the 1963-64 school year. She exuded cheer, warmth, kindness and love and spread it widely. She gently conveyed the news of President Kennedy´s assassination to us one late, gray November afternoon. She touched my life in magical, memorable ways and made me feel seen and special. She inspired me to become a teacher. She graced my life.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. Mrs. Dietz was my kindergarten and first grade teacher at Hoover and I remember her great big hugs and her kindness as I walked into her classroom.
I was in middle school when I ran into her at the mall, and she called me by name and made me feel like just yesterday she had me as a student. She will be greatly missed

Mrs. Dietz was my kindergarten and 3rd grade teacher. I absolutely LOVED her, as did my sister who had her in the years prior to me. She was a lovely woman with a heart of gold and at age 39, I still remember her warmth and kind heart. My deepest condolences to her family as we send you prayers of healing and peace during your time of loss.

On behalf of my mom and late father, our family sends its deepest condolences and thanks for a lifetime of friendship between our family and the Dietz's. It was a relationship that was very special to my parents.

Miss Ihle was my wonderful 4th grade teacher and the inspiration for my own 40 year teaching career. I was fortunate enough to take her to lunch while visiting Tonawanda from St. Petersburg, FL. She meant the world to me, so I know what a painful loss this is to her family. My deepest condolences to you. May you find peace and take comfort in knowing that she brought love and light to so many lives.
