Sheryl THUMAN Obituary

THUMAN - Sheryl (nee Turay)
Passed peacefully at the age of 66, on July 29, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Sheryl was born on May 4, 1956 to Eugene and Emily Turay; she was raised in Dayton, NY, and is a graduate of Gowanda High School, Class of 1975. Sheryl married Karl Thuman, Jr. on August 16, 1975. Karl and Sheryl worked side by side to create a very successful construction company that they ran for 38 years. They built two homes, raised three children and four puppies and have enjoyed six grandchildren and seven grandpuppies. Their life together was filled with love, laughter and travel. Sheryl enjoyed reading, knitting, loved the Yankees and was an animal lover. Sheryl is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Karl Thuman, Jr.; her children, Nicole (Matthew) Lorion, Jacquelyn (Michael) Quintilone and Stephanie (James) Jordan; her grandchildren, Avary, Makenzie and Kennedy Lorion and Chase, Skylar and Haven Quintilone; and her brother, Kevin Turay. Those wishing to pay their respects can attend a visitation at THE DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, INC. on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 4-8 PM. Per Sheryl's wishes, a Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. One of Sheryl's greatest loves was animals.
