Of Depew, NY; age 81. Beloved wife of 58 years to Peter Gargano, Sr. Devoted mother of Peter (Jennifer) Gargano, Jr., Antoinette (Mark) Nowakowski, Nicole (Bruce) Stutz, and Gina (Christopher) Waiss. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Andrew, and Adam Gargano, Miranda and Jonathan Nowakowski, Dominic, Vincent, and Julia Stutz, Matthew and Samantha Waiss, and Tommy Cristiano. Loving daughter of the late Michael and Grace Cavalieri. Dear sister of the late Lorraine (late Joseph) Aguglia, Mary Ellen Cavalieri, and the late Michael (late Janice) Cavalieri, Jr. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family will be present Wednesday from 2-5 PM at the (Lancaster-Depew Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6050 Transit Road where a Celebration of Sylvia's Life will follow at 5:00 PM.
