Beloved husband of the late Edith (nee McKinnon); father of Leah Doherty, late Sean Doherty, and late Eric (Patricia Pacynski) Doherty; grandfather of Brendan Doherty of Concord, CA and Nathan Doherty of Buffalo, NY; mother in law of Rebecca Czyzewski-Doherty; also survived by Canadian nieces and nephews. Friends received on Thursday August 21st from 5 – 8 PM at LAKESIDE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4199 Lake Shore Rd. (corner Camp Rd. & Rte. 5), Hamburg, NY 716-627-2919 where prayers will be held Friday at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Paul II Church in Lake View, NY at 10 am.
