Past President & CEO of Roswell Park Cancer Institute, passed away, at age 97. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Betzold) Tomasi; devoted father of Robin (late Richard Fosbury) Tomasi, Theodore (Sophia) Tomasi and Anne (Steven Scott) Tomasi; loving grandfather of Michael Bellamy, Porter Graham, Lan Tomasi and Zia Tomasi; dear brother of Theresa Tomasi and the late Timothy (June) Tomasi; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7th, from 3-7 PM at the (Delaware Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1132 Delaware Ave. (at West Ferry). A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 8th, at Roswell Park's Research Studies Center, Elm & Carlton Sts., Buffalo. The service will be live streamed at www.roswellpark.org/event. Interment will be private at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to the Thomas B. Tomasi Immunology Research Fund at the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation. I ANM Nazmul Khan MD, PhD, obtained my PhD under the mentorship of Dr. Tomasi during 2005 from Roswell Park SUNY at Buffalo. Dr. T, we used call him, a great humanist, accomplished physician, scientist and healthcare administrator will be always in our heart and will survive through his scientific work. Our deep condolences to his family. Rest in Peace Dr. T.
