Beloved husband of the late Joy (nee Stotz) Flattery; devoted father of Patrice (John) Ferraro and Walter J. (Debbie Winkowski) Flattery, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Jessica Rose Ferraro, Madelynn Flattery, Luke John Flattery, Adam Musior and the late Christopher John Ferraro; great-grandfather of Clara Joy Chapman; dear brother of Joan (late Jack) Connors, Joyce (late Chuck) Bastian, late Jean (late Robert) Bauman, late Ann Bauman, late Jane (late Thomas) Johnston, late George R. (late Jean) Flattery, Jr., late William (late Joan) Flattery, late Janet (late John) Bullock, late Gary Bastian, and late Bernie (Sandra) Flattery; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca, NY Thursday, January 30th from 3-8PM where Army funeral honors will be presented at 7PM. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 31st at 10:30AM in St. Simon's Episcopal Church, 200 Cazenovia St., Buffalo, NY. In lieu of flowers please donate in Walter's memory to the Flattery Family Playground project at Java Heights. Online condolences may be made at www.hoyfuneralhome.com
